The National Critical Infrastructure Subsector of the Food and Agriculture Sector is "Production and supply of food, ensuring food security and safety".
In accordance with H.G. no. 35/2019 for the designation of the responsible public authorities in the field of national and European critical infrastructure protection, the responsible public authorities in the national critical infrastructure sector "Food and Agriculture" are the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority.
