Critical infrastructure subsectors of the "Information and Communication Technology"

  • Electronic communications systems, networks and services;
  • Data processing, processing and storage systems, including electronic public services;
  • IT security infrastructures;
  • Communications systems and networks for the state cipher;
  • Radio-tv broadcasting infrastructures;
  • Postal services nationwide.

In accordance with H.G. no. 35/2019 for the designation of the responsible public authorities in the field of national and European critical infrastructure protection, the public authorities responsible for the National Critical Infrastructure Sector "Information and Communication Technology" are the Ministry of Communications and Information Society, the Special Telecommunications Service, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Service Romanian Intelligence.
