The vaccination strategy against COVID-19 in Romania establishes the vision, principles and mode of action for the administration of vaccines authorized by the European Medicines Agency in Romania. The present strategy is based on both the analysis of the situation at national and European level of the spread of SARS-CoV-2, as well as the analysis of the situation of serious cases and, respectively, of the mortality generated by COVID-19. Through this strategy, Romania aims to ensure access to vaccination against COVID-19 in safe, effective and equitable conditions for the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection and the limitation of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
