during May 15–17, 2019, the National Critical Infrastructure Protection Coordination Center organized, within the "Excelsior" Brașov Center for Training and Recovery/Recovery of Work Capacity, the 2nd edition of the thematic convocation in the field of national critical infrastructure protection with ICN/ICE security liaison officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A number of 17 liaison officers for ICN/ICE security (OLS) or specialists who have duties and responsibilities in the field of reference from all the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that have been designated, by Government decision, critical national infrastructures participated in this activity.
The objectives of this activity consisted in the presentation of the methodologies that are the basis of the process of identification, designation and protection of ICN carried out by the responsible staff within the specialized compartments at the level of the structures holding national critical infrastructures in the MAI, the dissemination of the good practices necessary to solve the problems in the reference field, as well as the presentation of the actions that must be taken to ensure an appropriate level of protection of the national critical infrastructures under the responsibility of the ministry.
The activity was carried out over three days addressing, according to the approved agenda, the following:
- presentation of legislative news and activities specific to the protection of critical infrastructures ongoing at the national level;
- the current situation and the activities carried out in the field of the protection of critical infrastructures at the level of the MAI structures holding national critical infrastructures;
- risk assessment in the field of protection of national critical infrastructures - interactive activity organized by working groups;
- instructions on completing the reporting documents in the field;
- free discussions during the round table on the theme "Identification and designation of national critical infrastructures".
