The critical infrastructure subsectors of the "National Security"

  • Defense of the country, public order and national security;
  • Borders, migration and asylum;
  • National security industry, production capacities and storage facilities;
  • Emergency situations;
  • Justice and prisons.

In accordance with H.G. no. 35/2019 for the designation of the responsible public authorities in the field of national and European critical infrastructure protection, the public authorities responsible for the National Critical Infrastructure Sector "National Security" are the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Justice, the Special Telecommunications Service, The Foreign Intelligence Service and the Romanian Intelligence Service.

M.37 of May 17, 2011, the Romanian Intelligence Service Nr. 10.216 of 7 June 2011, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment Nr. 107.101 of 15 June 2011, the Ministry of Administration and Interior no. 111 of 1 June 2011, the Foreign Intelligence Service Nr. 150 of 10 June 2011 and the Special Telecommunications Service no. 13.026 of 23 June 2011 for the establishment of critical sector criteria and critical thresholds for the NCI sector - National Critical Infrastructure - "National Security"
